A Personality-filled Daycare Centre Chalk Design Studio Gurgaon
Designer Priyanka Singh’s expertise of designing efficient spaces that amalgamate practicality, clean lines and global trends got Gurgaon-based Chalk Studio their latest project—a modern daycare centre in Aerocity Gurgaon. The project was brought to life with playful design elements, splashes of colour and stunning graphics that infuse dollops of quirkiness into the overall décor of the space. Spread across an area of 1,300-square-foot, the daycare centre includes a reception area, breastfeeding zone, play area cum dining space, classrooms and a nap room.
Space is utilised judiciously with creative built-in open shelves and neutral-toned furniture with rounded edges to promote fun, interaction and safety. A whimsical reading nook is scooped out of the wall niche for a good joy read which the children will love and appreciate. The elliptical seating of the classroom combines with faux green grass to add oomph into the learning space.
